The Comcast Bite of Seattle takes place this year on July 15-17, 2011 (Friday-Sunday) at Seattle Center.  Bite of Seattle is the Pacific Northwest’s premier food festival.  Admission is free!  The Bite of Seattle takes place Friday & Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  The festival features over 50 Seattle area restaurants and over 30 food product companies.  Don’t miss out on the incredible local food – this festival only happens one weekend out of the year!

Some festival highlights include The Alley hosted by Tom Douglas, Beer & Wine Gardens, live music, the Gnarly Head Rippin’ Ribs Recipe Contest, Puget Sound DockDogs dock jumping competition, live cooking demonstrations, and plenty of family-friendly activities.  To learn more about the festival, please visit their website.

Seattle Center Monorail is a great transportation option for Bite of Seattle attendees.  The Monorail provides fast, direct, convenient transportation between Westlake Center and Seattle Center.  The Monorail is open on Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM.  Both Monorail trains will be running during the busy times of the festival.  Trains will depart from the platform approximately every 10 minutes.  For fare information and rider alerts, please visit our website: http://www.seattlemonorail.com/
